DO, as we called it, trained me as a guide and sent me around the world for three years while I found myself leading their marketing during a transition from local NYC outfitter to a national company. In the process, they helped me rediscover my own love for the outdoors and taught me tons about teamwork.
Natural Connections
Over its 15 years in the NYC market, the brand had refined an admirable culture. At it’s core, it offered three things on every experience regardless of location, duration, or difficulty level. We aimed to articulate that culture as the brand’s identity in communications internally and externally.

Custom Fitted Corporate Experiences
Lasting anywhere from eight hours to over eight days in all manner of environments, guiding trips was a master class in experience design. Developing new itineraries and regional programs took it to the next level. As part of corporate sales, I worked to sell and design custom experiences for clients like Food52 and Harlem Run as well as develop and deliver programming for existing clients such as Columbia Business School.
